Mandela Day CSI Project

As part of its Mandela Day initiative, Q&A Engineers visited Kommissiedrif, a village under the Barolong Boo Seleka Traditional Council, to support the local community and combat period poverty.

The initiative saw the distribution of 200 Wings BioCare sanitary towels, packaged with dignity essentials sponsored by Q&A Engineers and YS Farming Community, to 100 girls between the ages of 10 and 19. An educational talk was also offered by Sister Refilwe from the local clinic in Thaba Nchu. The aim of the initiative was to support young girls and enable them to attend school with dignity throughout their menstrual cycles.

The day was supported by the Barolong Traditional Council, community beneficiaries, and Lesedi FM, which broadcast live from the village. In addition to the sanitary towel distribution, YS Farming Community also contributed paint to support the refurbishment of the community hall.

Through collaboration with our stakeholders, Q&A Engineers continues to demonstrate the power of collective action in creating meaningful community impact.
